Cultivating Community and Green Spaces
Welcome to The Deerfield Garden Club, where we cultivate more than just beautiful blooms; we cultivate community. Nestled in the heart of our historic New Hampshire town, our club brings together passionate gardeners of all skill levels to share the joys of horticulture, conservation, and civic beautification.
For 16 years, our members have worked together to enhance Deerfield’s natural beauty. Today, our 30 dedicated members collectively contribute more than 10,000 volunteer hours each year, maintaining 9 public gardens throughout the town. With the generous support of our Adopt-a-Garden sponsors, we are able to continue nurturing the spaces that make Deerfield so special.
Whether you’re looking to master the art of the perennial border, learn about sustainable native planting, or simply connect with neighbors who share a love for the soil, you’ll find a warm and welcoming space here. Join us as we work together to keep Deerfield blooming: one garden at a time.

Cultivating Community Through Gardening
The Gazebo Glow Up Community Project 2025 was a true community effort, with our amazing team of volunteers taking on the project of rejuvenating the gazebo area for all Deerfield residents to enjoy. Together, we removed invasive species, cleared overgrown and diseased areas, and created a beautiful space filled with perennial plants that will bloom throughout the seasons. This project would not have been possible without the generous support of Rockingham Hardscape, who brought the big equipment to help remove stumps and shape the beds, and Van Berkum Nursery, who generously donated all of the perennials for the project. The memorial walkway at the gazebo will be the finishing touch on the Glow-Up - coming in spring 2026. The walkway will be rebuilt using the existing stones and memorial stepping stones, but with a new foundation and bricks to stabilize the walkway for generations to come. Thank you to FOCUS for donating funds towards the walkway restoration!
Community Project 2026 is already in the works!
Community Projects:
COMING SOON...
As we near the completion of the Gazebo Glow Up, the final step will be the restoration of the Gazebo Walkway - a memorial walkway that commemorates both 9/11 and the tragic flooding of 2006. This walkway is a meaningful part of our community history, and we are grateful to FOCUS for their financial contribution to help make this restoration possible.
We have also begun the planning process for our 2026 community project: Pollinator Pocket Gardens at the Pathway. These gardens will create beautoful, welcoming spaces along the walking path while providing essential habitat and food sources for pollinators like bees and butterflies. Pollinator-friendlsy gardens not only support our local ecosystem and food supply, but they also create peaceful, nature filled spaces for people to enjoy, walk, and connect with the outdoors.
Thank You, Sponsors!
We are truly humbled and incredibly grateful for the support of our sponsors. Their generosity and belief in what we do makes our projects, events, and community spaces possible. Because of their support, we are able to continue beautifying our town and creating spaces for everyone to enjoy. We simply could not do this without them-and we are so thankful to have such wonderful community partners.
